The case for more vegetables in your diet

We've always heard, eat your vegetables, because they're healthy.

But, do we know why they're healthy?

Sure, vitamins, minerals, nutrients, things that we may all have heard of.

But why would I eat those when I can take the vitamins and minerals in a supplement, and get my protein and carbs from other sources, too?

Well, to answer that question for myself, I have learned from people a lot smarter than me, and usually that are on the dot with their own health, and on the dot with helping people heal their own health.

Those are the types of people I want to listen to!

Dr. Mark Hyman, first was brought to my attention through hearing about him on different podcasts that I would listen to, or hear about him in a medical journal that I may have been associated with.. He is the founder of the ultrawellness center, and himself a living example of health at any age.

Dr. Hyman talks about the power of vegetables all of the time, and how eating them can significantly increase your lifespan!!

Vegetables can help prevent many diseases, ease the burden of aging, and help us continue to feel better longer without much weighing us down!

This sounds like something I want to sign up for!

Vegetables have inherent properties that gives them vitamins, minerals, flavenoids, phytonutrients, mineral salts, probiotics, compounds that help us have a better body now, and continue on in the future.

These can help anything from your spleen, to your brain function on a daily basis!

Learning about the abundance of each nutrient in each vegetable, and when you combine them is so much fun! Especially cooking with them!

I have a lot of information on this site on the recipes and foods that I like including in my nutrition, to make sure I am getting full protection for a full, long, and healthy life.

If you want to learn more about the vegetables and foods that I particularly like, and for what reasons, go ahead and message me at this link here saying "vegetables"!
