Add this to sleep better (from many people recommending it to me)

So I have had this come up multiple times recently, people have been sleeping less and less, or having things that keep them up at night. Someone recently told me I WAS THE ONE keeping them up at night.. Then they proceeded to... Just kidding, no one said that..

Anyways, I want to bring up something that I have heard about and been learning about for many years. It is magnesium for sleeping. I remember first learning it when I had an internship director of mine suffering from insomnia (my mom did her whole life as well), and hearing that magnesium supplements can help with sleep was something that intrigued me, since I hadn't learned about that in school. If you think about all of the body systems, minerals, and vitamins out there (we only know about 10% of the nutrients out there and the way we think muscles work is a theory, we don't actually have proof), there is so much to learn. This is another reason why I love to continuously learn about what can actually help you and your body recover better and be healthier.

Now that the tangent I was on is finished; Magnesium and sleeping. Magnesium studies with people/patients with insomnia helped them fall asleep faster, stay asleep longer, and wake up less during the night. I think that is pretty cool, all coming from just one mineral. We have this mineral in abundance in food (mainly plants) around us, but we may not be getting the adequate amount from what we choose to eat, and we may not absorb the nutrients as well (in this case magnesium) for many different factors that I won't get into here. This is individual and usually what I, or any health professional would check or go over in coaching if you had a deficiency.

Magnesium Glycinate would be the type of stored magnesium that you want to get. My bet that the bottle at walmart that is the cheapest and says Magnesium is not going to cut it. Let's face it, a lot of things on the market aren't what they seem. For instance, NMN, another molecule I have been researching for a year now (it helps start the pathway that repairs cells and regenerates tissues to their full strength), you can buy on Amazon from probably 100 different companies. I would only trust one. (not on Amazon). WHY? All 100 of those brands on Amazon have a version of this nutrient-molecule that is cheap to make and has a half-life of less than 30 days. What does that mean?? That by the time you get it, it's ALL gone, because those products sit in the warehouses for longer than 30 days on average.

Know where you are getting your products from, and how they are handled. It matters.

Here is Magnesium Glycinate from a trusted source.

Happy sleeping! I can always go into more detail for you or for what could work with you in particular, since everyone is different, and everyone has different needs.
