Oils that make your blood actually boil!

Hey everyone!! Happy beautiful day! It's a Tuesday, and beautiful!

Anyways, I want to get right into it!..

This is in the top 3 things I would ever start to get your health on track, right away.

Yes, it's that important. Up there with breathing, haha.

It really is crucial though.

Doing this wrong can lead to chronic inflammation, which can lead to 90% of the diseases and conditions that we see today. (The world health organization relates that 90% of the diseases and the health conditions that affect people are all lifestyle and chronic inflammation based).

It can keep you sick for a very long time, and not allow you to break out into feeling good and having the quality of health and life that you've always wanted.

This is also hidden all around us, in everything, and very very cheap, involved in most things we eat, or even that we cook with.

Now that I am done hyping up what it is (it is all called for)..

Vegetable oils, rancid seed oils (palm oil, canola oil, vegetable oil, sunflower oil, soybean oil, grapeseed)

These oils are HORRIBLE for our health. They are one of the modern poisons keeping us sick.

This is another thing that I have known about for years, but have not really shared, because it becomes so commonplace in my life, but I realize that not everyone has read/listened to over 3000 hours easily of health information and research that I have always been interested in, and scoured for information on how I can live a better, more engrained in holistic healthy life.

These seed and vegetable oils are very cheap to produce and are very very high in what's called omega-6 fatty acids, which in high volumes can be inflammatory to our health. Well since those oils can help the shelf life of food increase substantially, they get used a lot in foods that we can buy from the store that has a label on it. Most things that you buy that has a label on it, once you get done reading the laundry list of ingredients, probably has an oil like this in it, if it is a food item. That's why you might've heard me say, "If God made it, then eat it", if "Man made it (packaged), then don't".

These oils can lead to very prolonged and huge inflammation increases as mentioned, and just to prove the point, Harvard health research center has shown that Americans eat about 10x as much omega 6 to omega 3. Omega 3 will be what you find in wild fish, nuts, seeds, and meats that eat the original diet.

(*Did you know that animals like cows that eat a grain fed diet are found to have a totally different nutrient and fat profile full of omega 6, instead of omega 3, if they ate grass and grazed?)

Back to the seed/plant oils. I still have even thought about this, because I don't like to be one to say something is bad for you right away. Especially if it is coming from plants. However, the more research I have done in this area doesn't point exactly to what the oils are, it's how they are.

What do I mean by that?

Well, the oils that are mass produced in question (canola, palm, corn oil, vegetable, etc.) are made in a very cheap way to be sterile when they are sold. They are stored in clear plastic, and usually on shelves of warehouses, on trucks for a while before they are available to the consumer. During that time, they are exposed to a lot of heat, and a lot of light. I learned years ago why the more expensive oils (think olive oil) are stored in dark green glass. LIGHT actually damages and changes the bonds in the oil itself and can break it down, reducing its nutritional value and natural profile.

Heat also breaks down the oils even more, and when stored in the cheapest plastic that holds the oil.. what else can happen? Remember my blog post on heat and plastic? Plastic is petroleum based. Very toxic combination with high inflammatory seed oils and inflammatory plastic leaching. This right here is a HUGE contributor to why Americans experience conditions that are 90% lifestyle related, and also have had huge increases to now almost 50% of the American population suffers from one chronic illness (lifestyle related).

Wow... Sorry if I am opening the cannon on you guys, this stuff if just CRAZY to me, and I'm like wow, someone's got to fix it.

Now, so I don't write for the whole day and have this research article turn into a novel, I am going to sum up the oils you should definitely shoot for, and the ones you should stay away from.

EAT MORE OF:

Olive Oil

Avocado Oil

Coconut Oil

(Just think, what's naturally fatty? Yes, the flesh of the coconut is).

EAT LESS OF:

Canola Oil

Grapeseed Oil

Palm Oil

Sunflower Oil

Safflower Oil

Vegetable Oil

Rice Bran Oil

Soybean Oil

Cottonseed Oil

(For me, it's EAT NEVER OF, that's just to the point of what I've seen from the research. It really is scary how detrimental this part of nutrition health is if you eat these oils. It can literally kill you from the inside. It leads to SO many diseases and conditions that don't feel good either).

BONUS:

I just thought of this. I grew up eating this. Well, actually a ton of these high inflammatory oils, too. Have you heard of, "I can't believe it's not butter!"?

Well, if you have, they are telling you right to your face, it's not butter. Butter in its natural state, regardless of being a saturated fat, is no where near as inflammatory as these other highly processed oils that have no life left in them from the processing.

What they are really telling you is, "Can you believe what this really is?!"

I can't believe it's not butter is filled with vegetable oil, canola oil, and really crap. It has nothing in there that will help your long term health at all. It will actually take some of the hard work you have done, or the healthy eating you have been involved in, and take a big vote away from you on your health. Those things in our food are actively taking away from our future.

I am very passionate about this post in particular, because I have been following this way of eating for about 5 years now and I have noticed my quality of life and health being improved tremendously, just by taking action.

I am going to wrap up now, since this is already a long one. I hope this really helps you and clears it up for you. Don't even try the other ones, read the labels when you buy something (it will be in everything and it will be hard to switch up at first), but this is kind of the point of you being here! You have a resource right here, I have not been eating these oils for years and have come up with plans on exactly how to still eat good tasting, healthy food that can help you lose weight, or look and feel your best for the years to come. I have already done all of the thinking, and hard at first changing of my habits, since like I said it is in mostly everything. Then again though, look at most people's health around you, and I wouldn't call it top tier shape.

If you want more information on my programs and coaching, hit the apply button above, and type in "I read your rancid seed oil post" in the chat box, and we'll get to talking about how I can help you.

Sound good?

Toodles!
